Community Outreach Drop-In Events – Camborne, Falmouth & Penzance

We understand that Cornwall is a large rural area and that it can be difficult for some people to get to the Sight Centre in Truro. During October and November we are running a series of pop up events in community venues to bring our low vision, assistive technology and benefits services directly to towns and villages across the county.

Our Community Development Officer, Debbie Vivian will be attending the events, offering advice and information about the services and resources that those living with sight loss could be entitled to.  Our Benefits Advisor, Ruth Broad will be on hand to answer any queries regarding benefit entitlement.  Tara Butler from the Low Vision Clinic will also be providing specialist advice on Low Vision aids whilst Dominic Hall discusses and demonstrates the latest assistive technology equipment.
