iSightCornwall Patron Melissa Reid to represent Team GB at the 2016 Rio Paralympics

Team Great Britain have just announced their largest triathlon squad for an event debut which features iSightCornwall Patron, Melissa Reid.

Rio 2016 is the first time that the Paratriathlon event will feature at a Paralympic games.

Melissa who is originally from Nottinghamshire but has lived in Cornwall since the age of 10 was first selected for the British Triathlon Paratriathlon squad in 2012 having finished second at the 2011 Dextro Energy Triathlon – ITU World Championship Series London. In 2013 Melissa won both the World and European titles with guide, Nicole Walters. She came 1st in the 2015 Chicago ITU Aquathlon World Championships.

The Triathalon events are set to take place on the 10th and 11th of September at Fort Copacabana.
