Melissa Reid Targets Tokyo after Rio Bronze Medal Win

On Sunday 11th September, iSightCornwall Patron, Melissa Reid made her Paralympic debut in the Womens PT5 Triathlon event.

Despite sweltering conditions and tough competition, Melissa finished in a podium position following a thrilling sprint finish that saw her overtake US Para-athlete, Elizabeth Baker.  Australia’s Katie Kelly claimed gold whilst Melissa’s Team GBR teammate, Alison Patrick came home in second place.

Melissa now has her sights set on the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
