• What does the product do?

The Humanware Explore 5 is a medium sized, portable video magnifier. It is able to display anything placed underneath it in high definition (HD) and offers up-to 22x magnification.

• Is the product easy to use?

Yes, very! All buttons are clearly marked and the product is easy to use straight out of the box!

• Who is the product aimed at?

The device is aimed at anybody looking for a video magnifier. Because the product is so easy to use it is suitable for all age ranges from young to old. The power of the zoom and the plentiful colour options available also make it the perfect device to be used by people with all eyesight conditions.

• What are the pros and cons?

The device is very high quality at a very affordable price. It has a fantastic looking 5 inch screen and offers a TV out option via a HDMI cable (sold seperately). It also has the ability to store 1000s of images.

The only con I can think of is the battery life. Unfortunately the battery only offers upto 3.5 hours of continuous use. This isn’t bad but many of the competitor models have longer battery life. I believe that as the product offers such high specs, this is why the battery life is slightly less than it’s other competitors offering lower spec magnifiers.

• What alternatives are available, and how do they measure up?

The closest alternative would be the Ruby HD which offers a similar spec at a higher price.

• Is the product worth the money?

Definitely, being able to purchase a magnifier with such high specs at such a low price is fantastic!
