On Wednesday 5 June, members of the iSightCornwall team will be at the Old Cattle Market in Helston to provide advice and information about the services available to Cornwall’s visually impaired community.

Our Assistive Technology team will also be demonstrating the latest low vision aids, mobile phones, tablets and video magnifiers designed for visually impaired people. Please let us know in advance if there is a specific gadget or device that you would like us to bring to the event.

We will also be joined by representatives from Enhanced Vision, Guide Dogs for the Blind, the Macular Society and Dolphin who will be on hand to offer advice and answer questions.

Getting to the Old Cattle Market

The Old Cattle Market is located close to the centre of Helston town, adjacent to the A394 Penzance Road.

Situated next to the Boating Lake, it offers ample parking and is within walking distance of many local amenities. A number of buses also serve the site, running along Penzance Road and Porthleven Road.
