Following the success of last year’s events, the Department for Work and Pensions are organising a ‘Recruitment and Support Services Event’ on Thursday 8 March at Penzance Job Centre Plus.

Numerous local employers and support service organisations have been invited to attend the event which will combine both recruitment and provision and health services.

Members of the iSightCornwall team will be in attendance to demonstrate how technology, gadgets and mobility aids can be used to assist a visually impaired person to enter or re-enter employment.

Refreshments including lunch will be provided. There is a pay and display car park behind the building and a cheaper long stay car park by Penzance Tennis Club, although this fills up quickly.

We are also attending the Penryn Recruitment and Support Services Fair on Wednesday 14 March.
