St Austell Sight Loss Awareness Day (St Austell Library)

iSightCornwall Assistive Technology Officer, Dom Hall demonstrates a specially adapted laptop to a client. Various assistive technology devices can be seen in the background.

The iSightCornwall team will be at St Austell Library on Wednesday 12 September to answer any questions or queries you may have about the services available to visually impaired people in Cornwall.

Rod and Dom from the Assistive Technology team will also be demonstrating the latest gadgets and devices designed specifically for visually impaired people. Please call us in advance on 01872 261110 if there is a particular piece of equipment you would like to see at the event.

Getting to St Austell Community Hospital

St Austell library is located on Carlyon Road, within walking distance of St Austell train station and St Austell Leisure Centre (Polkyth).

The library offers on-road parking at the front and two disabled spaces in the staff car park at the side of the library. There is also a pay-and-display car park At Polkyth, a couple of hundred yards away.

Disabled access is located at the front on the building and an accessible toilet is available inside of the library.
