CANCELLED: St Austell Sight Loss Awareness Partnership Event

CANCELLED: Due to the current Government advice regarding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, we have made the decision to cancel this event. We apologise for any inconvenience and if you, a friend or a relative needs any advice or help with your eyesight, please call us on 01872 261110.

On Monday, 8th June members of the iSightCornwall team will be at St John’s Methodist Church Hall in St Austell to provide advice and information about the services available to Cornwall’s visually impaired community.

Our Assistive Technology team will also be demonstrating the latest low vision aids, mobile phones, tablets and video magnifiers designed for visually impaired people. Please let us know in advance if there is a specific gadget or device that you would like us to bring to the event.

We will also be joined by representatives from Enhanced Vision, and more groups and partners who will be on hand to offer advice and answer questions.

St John’s Methodist Church is situated off Bodmin Road in the centre of St Austell. There is a drive up to the building with a small carpark available. The building also has disabled access.

The closest bus stop is the White River Cinema stop, which is a 0.2 mile (4 minute) walk and is served by the 21, 22, 25, 27, 188, 216, 217, 223, 293 busses.
