Hospital information desks
We currently have a hospital information desk at Falmouth Hospital on Tuesday afternoons where you can find out more about the services we offer and look at some of the equipment on display. Our desk is run by our dedicated and friendly volunteers who aim to be there every week, however to ensure someone is there to greet you, please call us on 01872 261110 before travelling.
Eye Clinic Liaison Officer
We are delighted to be working with Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust to provide Cornwall’s first ever Eye Clinic Liaison Officer, known as an ECLO. Our Eye Clinic Liaison Officer, can provide you with emotional and practical support to help you understand your diagnosis and come to terms with living with sight loss.
Tara splits her time between appointments at the hospital, the Sight Centre and home visits so if you would like to have a chat with her; make an appointment; or find out when she will next be at the hospital, please call 01872 261110 or email info@isightcornwall.org.uk
We also offer advice to help you receive the benefits you are entitled too, information on visually impaired clubs and activities in your area and advice on low vision aids.
