“Are You Being Served?” Cornwall Fire & Rescue Over 50’s Event

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service will be hosting an over 50’s event “Are You Being Served” on Tuesday 26th July.  The event will be held at St Johns Hall, Penzance between 10:00 and 13:30 with various agencies and local groups coming together to offer awareness, advice and support to the over 50’s.

Our Community Development Officer, Debbie Vivian will be attending the event to offer advice and information about the services and resources that those living with sight loss could be entitled to.  Rod Keat, our Assistive Technology Advisor will also be on hand to discuss and demonstrate the latest assistive technology equipment.

Teas, coffees and biscuits will be provided throughout the day and St Erbyns and Penlee car parks are both within walking distance.
