Congratulations to our volunteers named in 60 over 60 list

From administrative assistants to volunteer drivers and everything in between, without our fantastic volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to provide the services we do.  A very special congratulations go to our volunteer Diane Roberts and our trustee Steve Holyer who have been named within Cornwall’s most inspiring over 60’s list. The 60 over 60 campaign was launched by Cornwall Council, set to celebrate extraordinary people across the county who help to make a difference within their community.

iSightCornwall Community Champions

Diane Roberts

Diane has been an iSightCornwall volunteer for 20 years, she has been running Truro Lunch Club and helping out at BLIS Singers club keeping these events exciting for our club members. Making such a great commitment to her community and showing support for iSightCornwall has meant we have been able to continue these clubs which benefit a great number of people.

Steve Holyer

Steve was nominated alongside his wife, Helen. Steve is currently a trustee of iSightCornwall and a longstanding member of the charity. Steve has also helped to create ADi Access, developing life-changing technology for those living with sight loss.
