We are the support for people in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly who are blind or partially sighted. From the day they are diagnosed with an eye condition, we are there for people for every step of their sight loss journey. From offering emotional support; life-changing low vision aids; technology demonstrations and more – we aim to inspire life without limitations for people with sight loss.
There are many ways that your organisation can support the work that we do from simply having a collection tin on your premises to a more long-term collaboration such as charity of the year. Whatever you decide, you can be confident that all the money raised in Cornwall stays in Cornwall to provide essential services for people living with sight loss.
Collection tin
Simply hosting one of our collections tins in your business or group can help make a difference to the lives of people living with sight loss in Cornwall. We are so grateful to everyone who hosts a tin and we will arrange drop off and collection of the tin so all you need to do is keep it on display. Charity of the year
If you are looking for a charity to choose as your Charity of the Year then we would be delighted to be considered. Invite us for a talk
We would be delighted to visit you and talk about what we do, our history and our place in Cornwall’s heritage. We regularly visit Women’s Institutes, community hubs and youth groups such as Brownies and Scouts. We can tailor the talk based on your group and what would work best for your audience. Hold a fundraiser
From blindfolded wine tasting to a specially crafted bag of coffee – we’ve had some fantastic fundraising fun working with local Cornish businesses and we are always so welcoming of anyone who would like to help us. We would support your fundraising efforts with our social media accounts, website and our member magazine as well sending press releases to local newspapers and radio stations about the partnership.
Any donations raised will help us continue to support people in Cornwall who are blind or partially sighted, whether you’re a small or large organisation and whether you’re able to raise £10, £100 or even £1,000!
