What is Gaming for Good?

Gaming for Good is when individuals or teams raise money for good causes through playing video games. Typically, people also record themselves when they are playing and broadcast it live for others to watch online.

What we’re doing

iSightCornwall team member and visually impaired gamer, Dom will be taking to Twitch to stream his gameplay in hopes of raising money for the charity as well as awareness about what it’s like to game as a VI player!

He’ll be discussing the features in a game that can cause challenges as well as those that can assist – all whilst trying to raise money for iSightCornwall! Dom will be joined by his iSightCornwall colleague Beth who will be reading out the comments and questions left by viewers in the chat.

Image shows an example of our Gaming for Good stream, Dom is on camera in the top right corner with the chat box below him filled with questions. The rest of the screen shows a video game character in a submarine.
